Alexandre Lunsqui
Biography
b. 1969 São Paulo, Brazil. Graduate of University of Campinas, where he studied engineering and music. Subsequent postgraduate studies at University of Iowa and Columbia University. Main teachers include Jeremy Dale Roberts and Tristan Murail. In addition to composing is active as professional pianist, performing music ranging from contemporary improvisation to jazz. Output includes works for orchestra, electroacoustics, solo instruments and chamber ensembles.
