Biography

b. 1955 London. Began composing at age of ten. Largely self-taught, although has received valuable advice from numerous composers. Active also as pianist, piano teacher and BBC radio producer and broadcaster. Piano miniatures (with and without pre-recorded sound) exploring life through the eyes of a child are the core of her output. Large-scale works include music for massed school musicians at the Royal Albert Hall, London, for festivals in the UK and for COMA. Has also written works for solo instruments, BBC radio drama and voice.
