Biography
b. 1969 Banting, Malaysia. Now lives in the UK. Received PhD from University of Sussex in 2001. Winner of Toru Takemitsu Award, Tokyo Chamber Music Competition, Quatuor Molinari Competition (Montreal), JSCM Composition Award and New Millennium Composition Commission Award, Birmingham. Music is broadcast and performed throughout the world, and includes orchestral, chamber, solo instrumental, choral and vocal works as well as arrangements of Malaysian folk music.
