Mindaugas Urbaitis
Biography
b. 1952 Kaunas, Lithuania. Studied composition with Julius Juzeliunas at Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. Currently Associate Professor at Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and at Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts. Has been featured composer at festivals in Denmark, Lithuania and the UK. His works, performed worldwide and recorded on various European labels, have received numerous awards. With and without electronics, they include opera and music for ballet; also orchestral, chamber, solo instrumental, choral and vocal music.
