John Myhill
Biography
John Myhill has had a varied career in music. As a performer he has played avant garde and classical repertoire as well as working in big bands and jazz combos. John has composed and arranged for many different kinds of ensembles and his works have been published, broadcast, recorded and performed at major venues in Britain and abroad. His most recent works include a millennium march for his hometown of Broadstairs, Kent and Requiem for an Airman for choir and orchestra to mark the closure of the RAF Manston.
John directs and conducts the Canterbury Orchestra and he is musical director for musicals, operas and shows in Canterbury and at Margate's Theatre Royal.
