This is a very well put together publication. The finger markings are excellent, and the notation clearly legible and easy to follow. By far and away the best deature of this publication, as with all of the 'Signature' series, is the extensive introductory and perfomance notes given by distinguished performers and academics. This really is a most useful feature, and without question is immensely helpful to the first time player of these works and for the comparative veterans of it. The only slight detraction is the fact that the binding of the book is somewhat cumbersome, it is hard to keep the book open on one page. With that exception however, this edition ahs to rank as one of the foremost in its field. A worthy edition to any pianists library.
