Brian Ley
Biography
Brian Ley was head of Gloucestershire Music Service from 1997 to 2002. He was a member of the advisory group to revise the National Curriculum for Music (1995) and of the working party that published A Common Approach. He was chair of the Music Advisers’ National Association (1995-6) and vice-chair of the Music Education Council (1998-2003). He now works as an independant music-education consultant.
