Lionel Salter
Biography
Musical polymath Lionel Salter began his professional career as an accompanist at the age of 12. He studied piano and conducting at the Royal College of Music and read music and modern languages at Cambridge. He had extensive experience in broadcasting, television and journalism, and for many years edited the Associated Board's dated examination pieces for violin and piano.
