Philip Cashian
Biography
b. 1963 Manchester. Studied at Cardiff University and at Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Oliver Knussen and Simon Bainbridge. Has worked as Director of Oxford Festival of Contemporary Music. Educational activity has included working with the London Symphony Orchestra, Britten Sinfonia and the Composers Ensemble. Teaches composition at Goldsmith’s College, University of London, and Bath Spa University College. Has written for orchestra, chorus, instrumental ensembles, solo instruments and voice.
