Biography
b. 1971 Schagen, The Netherlands. Studied composition with Geert van Keulen at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam 1990–96 and musicology at Utrecht University 1996–7. Plays clarinet, saxophone and piano. Has made soundtracks for film and worked in dance and theatre. Among his output are works written for the Asko Ensemble, Combustion Chamber, ensemble Tonk, Het Amsterdams Kwintet, Orkest De Volharding, René Eckhardt and Tomoko Mukaiyama.
