Opening an account
If you are based in Malaysia or the USA you must order through the exclusive distributor for your country.
If you are based in Cyprus, Germany, Indonesia or Sri Lanka you have the option of ordering either from your main distributor or from Oxford University Press.
In all other countries, ABRSM Publishing titles can be ordered from Oxford University Press.
If you are a music retailer and are likely to regularly order ABRSM Publishing titles, OUP will be happy to open a credit account for you on receipt of a satisfactory bank reference and two trade references.
For UK account customers OUP will supply orders on terms of 30 days' credit, without a carriage charge. They require a minimum initial stock order of £300 trade value.
For account customers outside the UK they will usually supply orders on terms of 90 days' credit from the date of statement. Orders will be dispatched to meet your requirements, with carriage costs calculated according to order weight and charged on your invoice. OUP require a minimum initial stock order of £250 trade value.
You do not have to open a credit account with OUP to qualify for trade discounts. Any music shop is welcome to order music at trade discount using a credit card or pro-forma invoice - OUP will issue an invoice and the goods will be released from the UK warehouse when the payment has been received.
